Heather's family history is entwined with textiles; weavers, sheep farmers & a court dressmaker, she has fibres her bloodstream.
She graduated from Manchester University with a Hons.Degree in fine art & embroidery.
Inspired by all things beautiful, recent work shows the inspiration of the landscapes around her home in North Molton, Devon. Her newest work features butterflies, moths and other insects.
Heather offers lectures on her work and a series of workshops. These include machine applique techniques to create embroideries based on flowers & landscapes. She can tailor-make a course to suit your needs and experience.
