My Garden Cushion

This is class is suitable for beginners and those with more experience.
Create a beautiful cushion inspired by your own garden or make a gorgeous gift for a friend.
Class Aim:
This class will use a combination of hand, machine & digital embroidery with applique.
You can decide on the lettering for your cushion prior to the day.
Using a beautiful organic cotton cushion cover you can decorate with appliqué hand embroidery, this class will introduce the technique of appliqué using Bondaweb (transfer adhesive). Hand embroidery stitches will be used to create texture and detail. If you are a keen machine embroiderer you can bring your sewing machine and add some more appliqued images.
All materials will be included, there will be a pool of threads and small pieces of fabric to use.
Please bring a pair of fabric scissors and some thread scissors if you have them.
Small pieces of haberdashery from your own collection, e.g. buttons, beads, lace etc. can be used to personalise your project.
** Full payment is taken at the time of booking (this is non-refundable or transferable to a different class). However, if the class has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.
Tea, coffee and cake will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.
Free plentiful parking with charging for electric vehicles available at an additional cost.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating paying adult.
